Accessibility Statement

We are committed to providing care and information that everyone can reach, use, and understand.

Our Commitment

Epione Pain Center (operated by Dr. Eiman Rahimi Medicine Professional Corporation) is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in a way that respects their dignity and independence. We are guided by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Accessible Customer Service

We welcome people with disabilities and are happy to accommodate individual needs. This includes:

  • Welcoming service animals and support persons in areas open to the public.
  • Communicating in ways that take a person's disability into account, including by phone, email, or in writing.
  • Providing information about our services in an accessible format, or with communication support, on request.
  • Notifying patients when an accessibility feature is temporarily unavailable, and describing the alternatives available in the meantime.

Website Accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the standard referenced by the AODA Information and Communications Standard. Our site is built to support keyboard navigation, readable text contrast, descriptive text for images, and use with screen readers.

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. If you encounter a barrier on this website, please tell us using the contact details below and we will work to resolve it and to provide the information you were looking for in another format.

Requesting an Accommodation

If you need an accommodation to access our services — for example an accessible format, communication support, or an adjustment to how an appointment is conducted — please contact us in advance where possible so we can make arrangements. There is no additional charge for accommodations.

Accessibility Feedback

We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible services, including anything we could do better. Feedback may be given by email or by mail, and you may give it anonymously. We will acknowledge feedback that includes contact details and respond in the same format it was received, or another format on request.
